The goalfest currently running through the Club continued again at the Regional Athletics Arena and 17-year-old Redshaw grabbed the first of his goals on five minutes before swiftly added his second on 11 minutes.
The rapid Adrian Cieslewicz made it 3-0 with just 25 minutes on the clock as he out stripped his marked in a race from the halfway line before lifting it over the onrushing keeper.
Redshaw then completed his hat-trick in the 38th minute with another lethal finish and made it 5-0 just five minutes into the second half.
Carlisle managed two very late consolation goals but by that time the young Blues had taken their foot off the gas as they jumped to the top of the table keeping their 100% record intact in the process.
The scoreline might have been slightly harsh on the Cumbrians, who had former Leeds striker Michael Bridges as their captain, but City took their chances in what was an entertaining game.
More pleasing was the fact that many of the players on show were making their first or second full appearances at reserve level and will gain confidence from the impressive victory.
Next up for the youthful Blues side is an away trip to Burnley on Wednesday October 1 (7pm ko).
