Top seeds from the Group, FC Schalke, host Paris Saint-Germain at the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen whilst the other game sees Real Racing Club make the journey from Spain to Holland as they take on Steve McClaren’s FC Twente.

And the Blues will have a close eye on all tonight’s action as Mark Hughes revealed: “Yes we’ll have people at all the games.

“I haven’t made a decision as to which one I’ll be at yet, but obviously it’s exciting times for us being in the group stages.

“We’ll get a little bit of an advantage because we’re able to take them in before we actually perform ourselves. Hopefully we can use that to our advantage.”
