Performing Arts Activity Day at CoMS

CITC are holding a range of Performing Arts projects over the coming months:

If you are aged between 8 – 14 years old and want to participate in a range of Dance and Drama Activities such as Street Dance and Musical Theatre, please contact the office to book your place.

Places cost £5 per child and participants should be dropped off at West Stand Main Reception at 9.15am and collected at 2.30pm bringing with them a packed lunch and soft drink wearing suitable clothing and footwear, i.e. trainers (Places are limited and on a first come first served basis.)

MCFC Big Band and Choir

We are also looking to set up two very different projects – A MCFC Choir and a MCFC Big Band. If you play any of the following instruments: Piano, Drums, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass Guitar, Guitar or Saxophone (Alto, Tenor or Baritone) and are interested in joining the brand new MCFC Big Band please email band@mcfc.co.uk.

If singing is more your domain and you want to sing with some fellow Manchester City Fans in the MCFC Choir please email choir@mcfc.co.uk.

If you require any further information on any of the above projects, please contact Deborah Glynn on 0161 438 7716.

Deborah is CITC's new Performing Arts Co-ordinator, and has joined CITC from the Club’s Academy where she worked for five years.

She has a background in Dance and Drama, and will be working with schools and the wider community on three main disciplines within the Performing Arts - Dance, Music and Drama.

CITC Executive Manager, Alex Williams says “Deborah's appointment will help the scheme to move in new directions whilst complementing the current projects we have already worked on such as the Street Dance for children in our Park project and also to help broaden the relationship with Tameside Borough Council.”
