Reserve team manager Glyn Hodges has called the Danish Under 21 keeper into the team and made two other changes from the side that started the 1-0 win over Liverpool a fortnight ago. Adam Clayton and Donal McDermott replace Danny Sturridge and Ben Morris. Recent signing Glauber Berti, who impressed against Liverpool and was on the bench at St James' Park on Monday, gets another chance to impress in central defence.
Last season's reserve league derbies saw City beat United 3-1 at home, with the Reds gaining revenge in the return fixture to the tune of 4-1 at Northwich Victoria.
Tonight's game is at Hyde United's Ewen Fields ground, and kicks off at 7.00pm.
