The Commentators Tour with Ian Cheeseman

A must for all City fans. BBC Radio Manchester’s Ian Cheeseman will be hosting a special “Commentator’s Tour” of the City Of Manchester Stadium on Monday 22nd December.

Join Ian for this fantastic opportunity to go behind the scenes and visit many areas of the stadium not normally seen on the regular Tour.

Tour’s will depart regularly throughout the day and in addition to the standard tour, guests will also get to see: -

• Level 3 of the stadium including the commentary gantry used by BBC, Sky, ITV and Setanta etc.
• The Press Box from where Ian delivers his match-day commentary for Radio Manchester.
• The Press Lounge
• The Referee’s room

Following the tour, Ian will do a short presentation outlining his typical match-day routine here at the City Of Manchester Stadium. Guests will also have the opportunity to do their best “John Motson” impression as Ian will outline how the match action is described from both a Radio and TV perspective and how interviews are conducted with the players and the manager.
