Schalke coach predicts a difficult game

FC Schalke coach Fred Rutten has admitted his side face a dangerous Manchester City team tonight having watched the weekend victory over Arsenal.

Rutten, the former coach of fellow Group A rivals, FC Twente told the media ahead of this evening's game: "I saw the Arsenal match and also the 2-2 draw at Hull. Manchester are a team that is very dangerous on attack.

"Arsenal are definitely no small team at all and Manchester City played very well against Arsenal."

And despite the Blues being without Robinho and Elano, Rutten is still wary of the attacking threat posed by Mark Hughes' men.

He added: "They have a lot of options offensively and very good attacking players. They are strong on the counter-attack but also dangerous on normal possessions.

"We need to be 200% concentrated on defence - it will be a very dangerous and a difficult game for us."
