Chelsea, Aston Villa go head-to-head for Man City youngster Sturridge

Aston Villa are battling Chelsea for Manchester City striker Danny Sturridge.

The People says Villa had a bid for the youngster turned down by Manchester City on the last day of the previous transfer window.

The pacy Sturridge could move for about £5m because he refuses to sign a new deal at City.

Chelsea also want him but Martin O'Neill can offer him the because team action he wants.
