City
booked their place in the last 32 of the competition last week after an
impressive 2-0 win in Germany against Schalke and Hart is keen to stay
in the tournament for as long as possible.
He said: “I think we’ve got a great chance of going forward in Europe and it’s exciting for the Club.
“I
think it’s a great thing to stay in Europe too because it presents some
good situations as well trips for the lads and the supporters. It
brings us all closer together.”
And the 21-year-old stopper is
hopeful that the European feel good factor will carry the Blues over
into their next run of games.
“Looking at the games ahead of us,
there’s some we feel are winnable, but I’m sure the teams we’re facing
will feel the same,” Joe added.
“It’s an open league with ups
and downs and three points can take you all sorts of places but a loss
can drop you down as well. We’re looking at every game positively.
“We’ve
played all the so-called ‘big teams’ in the league now and not looked
outclassed by any of them so we need to just move forward and win our
games over this next period.”
