Fingers crossed over Robinho & Micah

City
will have to play the waiting game over a couple of major injury doubts
ahead of Saturday's Barclays Premier League game against Fulham.

The
Blues' squad travels to London later on Friday with Robinho, Shaun
Wright-Phillips and Micah Richards all making the journey having missed
the draw with Paris St Germain in midweek.

But as Mark Hughes
explained at his Friday morning press conference, two of the trio are
still being troubled by injuries picked up in our recent games against
Arsenal & Man United.

Hughes said: "Robinho and Micah are
still doubts, they won't train today but we'll keep them with the
physios. They will travel with us to London, and we'll check them in
the morning.

"Nedum will train today, Michael Ball has been ill but we expect him to train today. Shaun will definitely train with us today.

"We
were forced to make some changes in midweek and we wanted to rest some,
but we are hopeful that the likes of Robinho, Micah & Shaun will be
able to come through and be available for tomorrow. We were lacking
that creative spark on Wednesday."

But there is slightly better
news on Elano, the Brazilian playmaker having hobbled off just after
half-time against PSG with a groin problem.

"Elano is not fit for
the weekend, he's had a scan on his groin strain, but it is not as bad
as we first thought. I think it will be a week to 10 days out for him,"
the Manager added.

As for long term absentee, Michael Johnson,
Hughes revealed: "We hope that he’s going to back in the next couple of
weeks. It’s been a long, drawn-out situation for Michael. He’s
frustrated and he’s as frustrated as we are. Hopefully we’re getting to
the end of it now and he’ll be available before Christmas."
