The Blues are reportedly willing to pay £6million for the Italian World Cup winner, but his agent believes the 31-year-old will see out the season in France with Lyon.
"These rumours have also reached me," Danilo Caravello told Calciomercato. "But I have not been contacted by anybody. It's true that Manchester City wants to invest a significant amount of money.
"The fact that Fabio is being linked to such a prestigious club can do nothing but make the lad proud. I believe that, at least until the end of the season, the player will not move from Lyon.”
