Juventus have, once again, reiterated their stance on super goalkeeper
Gianluigi Buffon by telling Manchester City he is not for sale.
The
cash-rich English side are planning a top-class transfer strategy in an
attempt to bring in some big name stars and close the gulf in gap
between themselves and the Premier League's big guns.
Reports in England insist Buffon will make the lucrative trip to Eastlands but the Old Lady has other ideas.
Sporting director Alessio Secco has jumped up to back the club's ambition to keep their shot-stopper at all costs.
"I
will repeat what [Giovanni] Cobolli Gigli and [Jean Claude] Blanc said
over the last few days, our Gigi is not for sale," Secco told Tuttosport.
There
has been plenty of talk regarding a €70 million offer for the Italian
international but, with Juve keeping him shackled at Vinovo, the
chances of him leaving are slim.
