Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is keen on bringing the quality additions to the City of Manchester Stadium in the January transfer window.
Regardless of the big names linked with a move to the cash-rich Eastlands outfit, the former Blackburn Rovers manager is looking to swoop for specific targets intending to strengthen the weaker departments in his squad.
Amongst Premiership players linked with City are, Blackburn forward Roque Santa Cruz, Chelsea left-back Wayne Bridge and Portsmouth midfielder Lassana Diarra.
"We're going to add to the quality of what we've got here," Hughes told The Observer.
"The list of supposed targets keeps on growing and it will no doubt be bigger before we go into the market.
"The only thing I can assure people is we won't be buying them all."
