In the media, Robinho has been happy to play the Pied Piper of Eastlands, summoning the cream of Brazilian talent to head for the City of Manchester Stadium. The summer signing feels that there's enough of Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan's cash to go around.
The former Real Madrid man is especially keen on Milan star and international team-mate Kaka. However, he's now widened his one-man scouting scope to Argentina via Atlético Madrid.
As the January transfer window prepares to creak open, Robinho has set his sights on Atleti ace Sergio 'Kun' Agüero.
El Kun, though, has been linked with an inter-Spain switch to Barcelona, who are reportedly willing to pay some €55 million for his services. Chelsea were keen during the summer, too, but are now apparently cash-strapped.
Still, such speculation hasn't curbed the enthusiasm of Robinho, who has been quoted as saying: "Who should we sign? Sergio and Kaka are fantastic players and Manchester City have a very exciting project developing.
"If either of them came to the club it would be good for the team and I’d be very happy. Agüero is an excellent footballer who is having a lot of success with Atlético Madrid."
It may be too late for Robinho's recommendations, as City have drawn up a 'realistic' transfer list already. If there's no mega signings, though, excitable Robinho will feel like a child who's recieved a lump of coal in his stocking this winter.
