It is being claimed that the agent of the Italian international striker has flown to England to hold talks with the mega-rich Blues, about the possibility of a New Year transfer.
This would be quite a surprise considering the 31-year-old only penned a new contract with Udinese recently, which will keep him with the Serie A side for another three seasons.
However, affordability is not a problem for City these days and they are looking for a striker, and Di Natale has been in good form this season with five goals in nine appearances.
