Among the latest transfer rumours is the possibility that Bayern and Germany full back Philipp Lahm will sign for Manchester City.
The Premier League outfit, dubbed the world's richest club after being taken over by billionaire sheikhs in August, are set to offer Lahm a lucrative deal to tempt him away from Munich.
Within the Bundesliga, keeper Timo Hildebrand has already signed with surprise leaders Hoffenheim, while Timo Gebhart has completed his €3 million move from 1860 Munich to VfB Stuttgart.
Champions Bayern are not expected to make any significant additions to their squad, having snapped up American international Landon Donovan on loan from the LA Galaxy.
And despite recent transfer rumours, the Munich giants have insisted that star player Franck Ribery will not be going anywhere in January.
