
Stephen Ireland and Vincent Kompany have been named Thomas Cook Players of the Month for November and December respectively.
The young midfield duo have been key elements behind some of the Blues best performances this season and the awards reflect their efforts.
Ireland has already weighed in with nine goals this term, his best return in a City shirt, while Belgian international Kompany has been one of the successes of the season.
At reserve team level, left winger Donal McDermott, who has benefitted from a loan spell at MK Dons this season and midfielder Paul Marshall pick up the awards for November and December.
Competitive midfielder Andrew Tutte warms up for tomorrow’s FA Youth Cup defence against Portsmouth by being named November’s Academy Player of the Month.
There is no Academy winner for December due to their break in the games programme. They return to action tomorrow night away at Fratton Park in 7pm kick-off.
