'ROBINHO WALKS OUT OF TRAINING'
THERE
was chaos at Manchester City this morning as it emerged that record
signing Robinho had left their training camp in Tenerife.
The
Eastlands club are refusing to comment on the reason for his departure
but reports suggest that the Brazilian stormed out and boarded a flight
to South America.
Whatever the reason for his departure, It is
another blow for City following Kaka’s rejection of a lucrative
transfer from AC Milan late last night.
The Manchester club
confirmed in a statement in the early hours that they had pulled out of
negotiations for the former footballer of the year as there was little
chance of a deal being done.
Executive chairman Garry Cook told
the club's official website: “Whilst Manchester City Football Club has
an obvious interest in world-class players of the quality of Kaka, we
owe it to our fans that such a transfer must work on every level;
commercially, financially, in terms of results on the field and within
Manchester City’s broader community.”

'Sheffield United keen on Manchester City's Ched Evans'
Sheffield United want to sign Manchester City's Ched Evans for £1million.
The Wales striker is worried about his future at Eastlands with City poised to bring in a string of new players.
Celtic
are also interested, but only want the 20-year-old on loan, and Blades
boss Kevin Blackwell hopes his cash offer will prove more attractive.
