Paperwork between the two clubs has now been agreed to turn Sam's loan spell into a permanent contract.
Williamson
made just one Barclays Premier League appearance for the Blues during
his time at the Club and leaves with the best wishes of all at the Club.
Speaking
of the move, the 21-year-old said: "It is a wrench leaving City after
so long, but I've enjoyed my time on loan at Wrexham and that has made
it much easier to make the switch.
"I don't see this as a step down at all, rather a big chance to further my career."
Dragons
Manager Dean Saunders added: "I'm delighted to have signed Sam, he is a
player who I feel can operate at a higher level, so will be an asset to
us.
"He has had a very good grounding in the game with City and typifies the kind of player I feel can help take the club forward.
"He's young and ambitious and also keen to continue his education as a footballer."
