and son City fans, Trevor and Craig Taylor from Oldham, presented
Manchester City FC with a cheque for more than £40,000 on behalf of
Britannia Building Society - the presentation took place at half-time
during the home game against Newcastle United on Wednesday 28 January.
The
cheque for £44,597, City's annual bonus from its Save & Support
accounts, takes the total amount presented to the club to more than
£150,000 since the relationship began in 2005.
Steve Sayer,
Manchester City’s Acting Commercial and Operations Officer was
presented with the cheque and said; "On behalf of the club I would like
to express my thanks to all the City fans who hold Manchester City Save
& Support accounts and support the club through Britannia - the
money will continue to benefit our youth development activities."
Peter
